Tim Cox has received numerous awards. His painting “On to Better Pastures” won the coveted Prix de West Purchase Award in 2003 and hangs in the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. His artwork has appeared on the covers of more than 300 publications and has graced Western Horseman’s cover 16 times since 1981, including the magazine’s 75th anniversary special issue in January 2011.
Tim is a member and past president of the Cowboy Artists of America and one of the most popular and collected painters of the modern American West. When not in his studio, Tim and his wife Suzie raise and train cutting horses on their ranch in Bloomfield, New Mexico.
